The cold and harsh winter is rapidly approaching and many snowbirds are getting ready to leave for the upcoming winter. A snowbird is a person who will flee from the cold and long winters and retreat to a much warmer climate such as Florida and California during the winter months. Many people simply cannot stand the cold realities of the winter and will get out of dodge before the first major snowfall happens.
